Overview
Drawing unique inspiration from our Sydney-based Holocaust survivors, as well as expert knowledge from our resident psychologist, historian and educators, the Sydney Jewish Museum offers impactful and relevant workshops for professional groups, corporates and government.
Participants of our professional sessions leave inspired, with accessible practical tips that can immediately be incorporated into both personal and professional settings. All our professional programmes are expert-led, customised to your organisation's requirements, and include the opportunity to meet and engage with a Holocaust survivor.

Our programmes
Our programmes are built around three key areas that underpin inclusive workplaces and best-practice culture.
Decision-making and leadership
This session uses the testimonies of Holocaust survivors to reflect on how businesses and employees can think about both corporate and personal responsibility today. By reflecting on the roles played by individuals and professionals in the events of the Holocaust, contemporary business practices are analysed and questioned. Participants come out with a greater understanding of what is involved in each moral and ethical decision, both personally and professionally.
Resilience and empathy
Drawing on the strength and positive outlook of Holocaust survivors, these workshops are designed for employers seeking to encourage resilience in their teams, develop empathy in their staff and create a culture based on strengths-based psychology.
Ethics and ending othering
In a world of increasing polarity, this programme encourages individuals to reflect on their role in enhancing social cohesion. Using the example of the Holocaust, teams examine their own biases and actions, and better understand the implications of othering and discrimination and their role in putting an end to it.
